can't seem to find any holes but air mattress keeps going flat when used

Since I'm on a limited budget in a new apartment, I'm using my air mattress as a permanent bed until I get settled in and in a financial position to buy a real bed (Starving college student). Its a Coleman air mattress, and I've been sleeping on it for approximately a week now. It widened out, to the point where the sheet I bought for it won't even fit it anymore. I've aired it back up, and it still holds it widened out shape. Now, I was thinking of building a platform frame, with a frame around the entire bed to give the bed a more square shape. Allowing the sheet to fit better, and for my pillows to not roll of the head, etc, would this cause any damage to the bed? Assuming there wouldn't be any sharp points to puncture the mattress.

I need to know how to use a hand pump on a Coleman Queen size air mattress? I'm going camping!!

I am trying to inflate a coleman inflateable mattress but the place where you would pump it up is blocked by another black thing inside and i can't get it out of the way so the air can get inside? If anyone has instructions or an answer please respond i need the help

got a leak & cant find a patch kit anywhere heard this might work any ideas> has anyone tried this?

I have had one by coleman brand and used it like only 3 times, now air is leaking and can not fix it right. I spent about $40 for that thing.. I am thinking about tossing it away, but I will be needing a replacement.

So I purchased a full sized Coleman air mattress, I use it daily, and today I've filled it with enough air to make it extremely firm (it feels perfect). I used the coleman air pump to fill it. I weigh about 145 pounds, and hope it doesnt explode in the middle of the night. Also, I don't expect anyone to be in the bed with me...If I'm going to do it, I'll do it on the floor. But I most likely wont do it. Thats beside the point.

Thanks,
hopelessly confused

I have a Queen coleman raised air mattress, I use it as my normal bed so I Always have it full. It was doing fine but a bit saggy in the middle so I aired it up a bit and since then it has been deflating, over night it will last about 1 hour before I wake up on the floor. I have read all tips found on the internet about how to find a leak in a air mattress and can not find a leak. I did see a post on one site that suggested the mattress plastic was worn out and might possibly seem to be leaking. Any help, or thoughts would be a great help.

ughhhh i've bought 3 air mattresses in the last year and every one of them is leaking!! I have an aero bed brand (supposedly the best) a coleman brand and then a cheaper brand and all of them always leak after about the first 3 uses!! How can i find the problem? how can i patch it if i have no idea where or why its leaking!!??

My plan is to buy a mini-van that's about 6 or 7 years old and has just over 100,000 miles on it (less, if possible). I don't want to spend more than $5,000 (hopefully less, like 2 or 3,000).

Then I will take out one of the seats in back so I can have more room for storage and a place to sleep. I will also take a tent and air mattress. I want to drive across the country and sleep in the tent and sometimes even in the van, and maybe every once in a while in a motel if it's cheap enough. I will put up curtains that I can close off the entire back also if I want to. I have a navigation GPS device and I do have AAA if I need maps along the way. Also I will bring an electric cooler that acts like a fridge, and a camping stove (Coleman), plus my laptop with wi-fi.

Where can I take showers? Someone told me truck stops let you take showers but how do I know which ones have showers??? I figure I will put like 10,000 miles on the mini-van and when I'm done, I'll sell the mini-van.

My husband I own a AERO King Sized Air Mattress, that we have used when visiting family or for guests. Unfortunately, it ripped along the bottom longwise where the vinyl is sewn (seamed) together. I was looking on Ebay, and I found a nice one by Coleman camping products, but I wanted to know if anyone could recommend anything else from personal experience.

Also, two twins will not work for us, as my husband is 6'4", and likes to creep onto my side. We need the king more for the length, and wouldn't like the small gap that you get when you push two twins together.

Thanks!

there are 2 holes the size of a golf ball on the side of a coleman air mattress that our small dog chew into. How do i repair these holes?
